Build confidence that lasts a lifetime

We want to help our youth. Kids are sitting in front of screens and becoming less active. Our Kids and Teens classes get them away from the screen, socializing with friends and moving their bodies so they can be healthier and happier.

We get kids moving through games, challenges, and workouts they love.
It would be nice if we could protect our kids from everything that life throws at them, but we can’t.

The best thing we can do is make them strong.

Through our kid’s fitness program, your child will develop qualities like trust, cohesion, self-accountability, and confidence, unlike anything we’ve seen elsewhere.

We use age-appropriate skills, challenges, and equipment. By using a FUN combination of calisthenics, running, rowing, jumping, throwing, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing and lifting we get kids to LOVE exercise.

    DETAILS

    Cubs FUNdamentals –

    • Grades 1-3

It is important to introduce kids to sport and to structured exercise at an early age – our goal is to train your little one to develop the ABC’s of human movement (Agility, Balance, and Coordination). We focus on FUNdamentals and introduce fun and challenging sport games, along with training basics for kids to be involved. Classes are 45 minutes in length and will keep kids busy, active, and learning throughout. This will improve athletic ability, sleep, attitude, and future outlook on sport.

    Cubs LEARN to TRAIN –

    • Grades 4-6

At an early age kids develop the ABC’s of human movement (Agility, Balance, and Coordination). In this second stage of the Cubs program kids will learn the basics of sport skills, rules, and tactics to set-up future sporting success. This program is designed for kids of all sporting backgrounds and is meant to develop understanding of proper gym etiquette in a supportive environment. We do not push high intensity strength or conditioning, but promote appropriate physical literacy. Kids will be introduced to the basics of sport speed/agility/ and footwork drills, the basics of the sport of weightlifting, and simple yet fun conditioning. This program develops better athletes and better all round children.

    Girl Power Fitness:

The years between 9 and 13 are a critical time for girls’ healthy development. We will empower young women that strong is beautiful. Strong is not looking a certain way. Strong is not eating a particular diet. Strong is a mindset about how your body supports you. Strong is focusing on what your body does for you, rather than what it looks like. Strong is believing in yourself and not letting obstacles stand in your way.

    8 weeks : May 6-June 24
    Friday’s 3:45pm
    Grades 5-7

    Summer Athlete Camp:

Plan your child’s summer training. Tuesdays and Thursdays. 4 week blocks. We are looking for a twice a week commitment.

By the end of the program, athletes will show gains in strength, speed and power. Classes will include weight and agility training while emphasizing the importance of a proper warm-up and recovery for the body. Off-season training for youth athletes should focus on improving foundational movement patterns and general strength and conditioning. In fact, this should be the bulk of the work done in the off-season. This work helps establish a base for the future. Improving fundamental movement patterns like jumping, landing, decelerating, squatting, hinging at the hip, pushing, and pulling all improve overall athleticism. The conditioning work done to the aerobic system in the off-season provides the base for the higher-intensity demands to come in the pre-season and competitive seasons. The improvement of general strength creates the potential to sprint faster, jump higher, and throw harder during the competitive season.
Summer Athlete Camp is a great way for teens to stay active and further their athletic training during summer vacation. If your child plans to attend both sessions, we would recommend signing up now, before they both fill up.
