Let’s have some fun and see how many steps we can accumulate in the month of JUNE. Let’s just get butts moving or keep you going if you already started! It is inclusive for all levels of fitness. All you need to do is sign up, and track your daily steps with a phone or smartwatch device! You will also receive a custom calendar to print out and record your STEPS. You will track your steps travelled each day (smartwatch, phone, or download the free step counter app to record steps throughout the day).
The Challenge: Accumulate 10,000 steps/day at least 5 days a week.
Challenge Dates: July 1st – July 28th 2024
Fee: FREE (All GFF Members are welcome to join for FREE)
- You can accumulate your steps any way you like, but we highly encourage you to get most of your steps outside and walk with someone else, if possible. This gets the added health benefits of sun exposure, fresh air, vitamin D, and building relationships, community, and purpose with one another. Great things happen when we walk together outside!
- Any fitness tracker, app, watch, etc. works for the challenge! We just want the steps counted and achieved! If you don’t have access to counting steps, we will consider 1 mile(1.6 km) = 2,000 steps, so 5 miles (8km) = 10,000 steps.
Prize: Weekly Prizes and A Grand Prize to all who complete AT LEAST 200,000 steps by July 28th
